Easy Bake Crab Cakes Recipe
Healthy easy bake crab cakes that are fast and easy to make. Simply shape and bake. For the best tasting crab cakes, use fresh pasteurized
crabmeat. Though, you can use canned crabmeat if fresh is not available.
Ingredients:
1 pound crabmeat
2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
1/2 red bell pepper, minced
3 scallions, sliced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 large eggs
1 large egg white
hot sauce, such as Tabasco
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
6 lemon wedges for garnish
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Generously coat a 12-cup nonstick muffin pan with cooking spray. Mix crabmeat, breadcrumbs, bell pepper,
scallions, mayonnaise, eggs, egg white, hot sauce, garlic salt and pepper in a large bowl until well combined. Divide this mixture
evenly among muffin cups. Bake crab cakes until crispy and cooked through, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
You can make easy bake crab cakes ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave or serve cold. Yields: 6 servings
