Sea Scallops Wrapped With Bacon

Broiled sea scallops are one of my seafood recipe favorites and wrapping them in bacon prior to broiling adds even more flavor.

Here is an excellent source for purchasing fresh sea scallops delivered to your home or business:

Scallop
Scallop
- $ 12.99
These all-natural, fresh dry scallops from Maine are mild, sweet, firm and have no chemicals or additives. They are premium sushi quality and are a valuable source of vitamin B12, phosphorous, potassium, and iron. Scallops have a nutty flavor and are great broiled, fried, baked, or stir fried. Sauté them in butter, olive oil or sherry for an extra-rich taste. Scallops cook quickly making them a convenient staple for the busy person’s kitchen.

Ingredients:
fresh sea scallops 20 to 30 count per pound
sliced bacon

Cooking Instructions:
Wrap the sea scallops with a half a slice lean bacon on each using tooth picks to hold the bacon in place.
Broil the scallops until golden brown and bacon is done to desired crispness, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side. You can marinade them prior to cooking using a mix of olive oil, lemon juice and pepper if so desired.
