This steak salad is light but filling enough to be enjoyed as a complete meal.
The steak is served warm with a creamy dijon dressing served over a bed of nutritious salad greens.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs round steak, cut into strips
salad greens
cherry tomatos
sliced onion
grated cheese for topping if desired
Dressing:
1/4 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/8 tsp. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
Preparation Instructions:
Fry the steak over high heat until done to your desired preference. Slice into thin strips.
Blend the salad dressing ingredients all together.
Combine the salad dressing with the warm steak strips and place on a bed of salad greens for each serving. Garnish with onions and cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle grated cheese if desired.
