Recipe for Ground Beef and Turkey Meatloaf
Ground beef and turkey are combined with bread crumbs for this tasty meatloaf. The secret ingredient in making this meatloaf really moist is adding milk. If there's any leftovers it makes great sandwiches with mayo!
Ingredients For Meatloaf Sauce
- 12 ounces of Ketchup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup balsalmic vinegar
- 2 to 4 tsp ground mustard (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of wocestershire sauce
Ingredients For Meatloaf
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 cup milk (any kind)
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass or stoneware baking dish. Mix meats, eggs, bread crumbs, and milk together. Pour in about 2/3rds of the sauce mixture and continue to mix by hand until incorporated. Mound mixture into a loaf in the dish. Flatten the mound to where there is about a finger width (about an inch) between the loaf and the side of the dish. Top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 mins. or until done.
