Cheeseball Appetizer Recipe
A fantastic melt in your mouth appetizer for any get together, holiday, backyard cook out or social event.
Ingredients:
1 cup minced walnuts
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
8 ounces processed American cheese
8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
Preparation:
Combine minced walnuts and parsley in a small bowl and set aside. Combine cheeses, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce in large bowl. Mix well. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Form chilled cheese mixture into ball shape. Roll in walnut and parsley mixture. Garnish with olives and parsley, if desired.
Yield: 20 servings
